The program begins in the Champoeg Visitor Center and ends with a 45-minute walk through the Park’s wetlands, oak savanna and upland prairie. Participants are encouraged to wear boots and bring binoculars to view Champoeg’s abundant birdlife. A volunteer from the Portland Audubon Society will be on hand to help identify birds. Free.
