June 28 The first of three public meetings to help decide the best use of the Old Methodist Church will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 28 at the Wilsonville Community Center, 7965 S.W. Wilsonville Road. A multi-phase study will seek community input on the use of the church. Suggestions and requests from interested parties over the years have ranged from a local museum to a teahouse, retail business, restaurant, art gallery, church or wedding chapel. For details call project director Kim Knox, 503-242-0084. June 29 The City of Wilsonville will hold a free barbecue at the Day Dream Ranch neighborhood at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 29 at Nehalem Court. This will be an opportunity to meet fellow residents, elected officials and city staff. June 30 Registrations are due June 30 for the third annual Benefit Golf Tournament to benefit St. Cyril Catholic Church. The tournament will be held Saturday, July 8 at Langdon Farms Golf Club in Aurora. It is open to the first 120 golfers. All skill levels are welcome to participate. The entry fee is $100, which includes breakfast, driving range, golf cart, tee prizes, lunch, and one free raffle ticket.
